User Data Deletion

1. Overview

WhatsLoop (a registered trademark owned by Cloud Payment for Communications and Information Technology) respects every user's right to control their personal data, including the right to request its deletion.

This page explains how you can request the deletion of your personal data held by WhatsLoop, and the timeframe for processing the request.

The right to deletion applies to the user who owns the WhatsLoop account, as well as to a merchant's customer whose data was messaged or stored through the platform.

This process complements the rights described in the Privacy Policy regarding access to, correction of, and deletion of your data.

2. Data covered by deletion

When a deletion request is processed, we delete the personal data associated with you and stored by us, including:

Account data: name, email, phone number, and company name.

Connection and conversation data: linked WhatsApp numbers, conversation logs, and message content stored to operate the service.

Customer contacts and their data that were entered into or imported to the platform.

Account settings, usage preferences, and activity logs.

3. How to request deletion

You can submit a request to delete your data in one of two ways:

From within the platform: if you have an account, you can delete conversation data or delete your entire account from the account settings in your dashboard.

By email: send a request to support@whatsloop.com from the email address registered on your account, stating your account identifier (the registered email or linked phone number) and that you are requesting deletion of your personal data.

If you are a customer of a merchant and want your data deleted, send your request to support@whatsloop.com with your phone number and the name of the business that messaged you on WhatsApp, and we will verify the request and handle it in coordination with the merchant when needed.

We may ask you to confirm your identity before processing the request, to protect your data from unauthorized deletion.

4. Processing timeframe

We respond to a deletion request and delete your personal data within a maximum of 30 days from the date the request is verified.

When an account is deleted, all messaging and conversation data associated with it is deleted within 30 days.

We send you an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.

5. Data we retain for legal reasons

We may retain some data for a longer period where a legal or accounting obligation requires it, including:

Billing records and financial transactions that must be kept in line with applicable tax and accounting regulations.

Data that we may be required to retain in response to a court order or a regulatory obligation.

This data is deleted as soon as the legally required period ends, and it is not used for any other purpose.
